The History of the Civil Rights Movement in Dr. King's Own Words

Here is a link to a newly discovered speech from Dr. King.  It was recorded in 1964 just before he received the Nobel Peace Prize.  You can read or listen to the speech on the page below.  The speech includes a straight forward history of the Civil Rights Movement from his perspective.  It is worth a listen, both to better understand the history of the Movement and to understand Dr. King's story.
